I had no idea what Yoga was really about

Yoga has helped me to relax more and in a way will myself to do it. I have always been fairly flexible but now I am even more so and I like the feeling of such flexibility which in conjunction with the core strength I have acquired make me feel a lot better about myself. Since I think about standing up straight now, I feel my posture has improved.


My high blood pressure has stabilized which I feel is due partly to the yoga postures and the breathing. I am more relaxed and use some of the yoga techniques to help when I am stressed. I feel I am mellower since starting yoga and that I can deal with stress in a more proactive way. The breath awareness practised in yoga classes has helped me to concentrate and focus better.


I truly enjoy going to yoga classes. I surprised myself as I did not think that I would like it - I had no idea what yoga was really about. I like challenging myself at yoga class and I feel very good and energized after the class. I also enjoy Margau and her way of teaching. She is very knowledgeable and passionate which comes through in her teaching. I like the attention to detail which in turn makes me get the most out of my yoga classes both during and outside of class.
