ABOUT 

MARGAU PERKO

I am passionate about teaching and my yoga practice. As a long-time yoga student and teacher for 20 years, I realized that yoga can play a powerful role in health and wellness. I have been a proponent of a healthy lifestyle since I was in my teens participating in activities such as dance, charity races, swimming and physical fitness. I also recognized the importance of a nutritional diet for optimum energy efficiency.

Before becoming a yoga teacher, I had a successful career in the banking and financial sector. My career in the corporate world helped me to see first hand the effects of daily stressors in the workplace, postural issues, repetitive stress, chronic low back and shoulder pain. As I studied health and wellness

and became a Certified Yoga Teacher, I knew that yoga could play a vital role in alleviating work and life stressors. Having seen that yoga could be a catalyst for positive change in the world, I left a successful career to pursue the Path of Yoga which has become my life long passion.

Yoga is intrinsically rejuvenating, keeping us healthier, motivated, balanced and inspiring us to master our individual pursuits. I continue to enrich my knowledge and practice by participating in intensive training programs led by Internationally and Nationally renowned Teachers as well as promoting the benefits of yoga through presentations, articles, wellness fairs and television segments.  I am committed to increasing awareness and the pursuit of a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.
