Jnana Mudra, also known as Chin Mudra, is the classical yoga hand position used for breathing exercises and to deepen meditation practice. Jnana represents spiritual knowledge or wisdom and Mudra means seal or finger lock. This mudra creates a circle which on a symbolic level circulates the life force within.

Hand Position:
Join the tips of your thumb and index finger on each hand. With palms facing upward, rest the backs of your hands on your knees or thighs (if sitting on a chair).
